Find the quiet in a loud world.

Fine-art photography of urban spaces, landscapes and interiors -
shaped by light, mood, and the moments that make you stop and look twice.

Step inside. Slow down. Be there.

Why I Photograph.

The light has to be right. The place has to pull me in. And sometimes, a scene simply makes me want to stop and look.

I shoot the moments that make me want to hit the brakes.

I’m drawn to places that make me slow down.

Mountains, water, light - and occasionally a very early alarm clock.

Abstract.
Buildings, reduced to shape and light.

  • Why I'm Photographing Rhein-Main

Why committing to your home turf is the best thing you can do for your photography.

I’m Michael, a photographer based in Germany, drawn to quiet moments, strong spaces and the light that makes me stop and look twice.

I’ve been photographing for more than 30 years, but I’m still chasing that same feeling: finding something worth stopping for.
